About the event
Dear Parent, Guardian, Responsible Person,
Did you know that studies show that young people who embrace their culture develop pride, greater self-esteem and self-confidence, which allows them to better integrate into their environment and have better school results?
It is on this basis that we created the Cultural Connections program; this program encourages adults to reconnect with their culture in order to pass it on to the youngest, with a view to helping them build their cultural identity.
The Cultural Connections program was designed not to overwhelm your busy schedule. We have articulated it around 4 pillars:
- Cultural Passeurs Workshops (monthly activity)
- Introductory course in Swahili (weekly activity based on the school calendar)
- Book club (quarterly activity)
- Masterclass in storytelling (quarterly activity)
We will start our activities in October, but before that, we invite you to find out more during the press briefing we are holding this Thursday, September 29, 2022, from 12 p.m. to 12:30 p.m.
